Hi, I’m Sarah! 🍂

I’m a mom of five, a dog mom to two, and for the past 10 years I’ve been a stay-at-home mom. My family has always been the center of my world, and so many of my favorite memories have been made right at home.

I’ve always loved the holidays — probably a little more than most! I love decorating, changing our home with the seasons, and creating those little touches that make a space feel special. Fall has always been one of my favorites. There’s just something about the pumpkins, warm colors, cooler weather …. well, Florida’s version of “ cooler weather” and the beginning of the holiday season that makes me happy.

Disney has also been a special part of our family over the years. Some of my favorite memories are the trips I’ve taken there with my kids. I’ve always loved the way Disney can take something ordinary and make it feel magical, and I think that love of creating a little bit of magic has always followed me home.

Once Upon a Porch was actually my daughter’s idea. She knows how much I love decorating and making everything special for the holidays, and one day she suggested that I should turn that love into a business. The more I thought about it, the more it felt like the perfect next chapter for me.

After spending so many years focused on raising my family, it feels really special to be building something of my own — while still doing something that I genuinely love.

When I decorate your porch, I want it to feel personal. I want you to pull into your driveway after a long day, see your porch, and smile because you’re home. I want it to be a place where your kids take pictures, where family and friends are welcomed, and where little memories are made throughout the season.

Because to me, it’s never just about the pumpkins.
